New Language Line for Non-English Speaking Patients
Lassen Medical Group, Red Bluff and Cottonwood's state-of-the-art facilities, now offers Language Line Services to provide clear communication by phone between staff and non-English speaking patients.
Maria, whose first language is Spanish, speaks very little English. When she developed chest pain, she was very concerned and quickly went to see her doctor - who speaks no Spanish. Through the use of Language Line, it was determined the problem was her gallbladder, not her heart, and the appropriate steps for care were promptly put in place.
