I have been fortunate to have been raised in Red Bluff and subsequently my wife, Geri, and I raised our three sons here. We have six grandsons and one grandchild on the way. I always dreamed of having a place in this community where I could make a difference and support my family at the same time. Lassen Medical Group has afforded me that opportunity as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

I completed my Associate’s degree in Registered Nursing from Regent’s College in New York in 1999 and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a certificate in Public Health Nursing at Holy Names University in Oakland, California, in 2006, and in 2007 joined Sonoma State University in their Master’s Degree program for Registered Nurses. In June of 2010, I graduated from SSU with a Master’s Degree in nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to joining Lassen Medical Group, I spent almost 14 years at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, 11 of which were as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and worked five years concurrently at St. Elizabeth as an RN in their Emergency Department.

I am licensed as a registered Nurse and Family Nurse practitioner, Public Health Nurse PHN, Mobile Intensive Care Nurse MICN I am certified in Basic Life Support BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum, Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS, and also a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider NRP. I am a member of the Redding Area Nurse Practitioners Association,

Geri and I together cherish our beloved growing family and enjoy the pleasure of our yellow labs and three-year-old Morab mare. Our love of family interfaces naturally with Lassen Medical’s goal to be the best primary care provider in the country. I really do care about my patients. I strive to succeed everyday in providing the best we have to offer at Lassen Medical. I feel privileged to serve as a healthcare provider in my hometown. I commit to you that I will treat your family as I would like mine treated.
